The Benefit Event of the Year
This year, the Fête Champêtre, main benefit event of the Fondation Armand-Frappier, will be held on June 14th, 2012 for the first time at the prestigious Windsor Station - Salle des Pas Perdus. Each event since 1994 has attracted several hundred people from the business and scientific communities in Greater Montréal. This event, which wraps up the annual fundraising drive, is an occasion to celebrate health and biotechnology research, and provides a valuable networking occasion for decision-makers and influential people in this field.
For 19 years, this event gathers individuals, foundations and companies from many fields, all of them contributing to the success of this soirée and to the Foundation's operations.
The fundraising drive, one of the most prestigious of its kind in Quebec, celebrated those who have worked to raise $ 13.5 million over the years for the benefit of health research at the INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier.
Each year, an organizing committee takes responsibility for the Fête Champêtre chaired by an Honorary President.
Presentation of the Fondation Armand-Frappier Prizes
A true celebration of research, the Fête Champêtre is also the occasion to highlight the successes of organizations in the health research field by presenting the Fondation Armand-Frappier Prizes.
The recipients of the three Fondation Armand-Frappier Prizes are announced during the Fête Champêtre. The Health, Innovation and Emergence Awards are given as recognition of exceptional accomplishments by organizations in the health, biotechnology, and agri-food sectors.
